There are 2 things to keep in mind when it comes to epoxy floors.
1.- Material – Not all material is the same. When you look at epoxy coatings the price ranges significantly from one to the other and its for a reason. Some coatings are made for home garage style installations, they are made for light low traffic areas and should last a few years in these environments. Then you have epoxy made specifically for cold temperatures, epoxy made for high heat areas, heavy traffic areas, etc. Your installer should know what epoxy is needed for your project.
2.- Installations arent all the same. Depending on the type of material, the handling of said material and installation is different. Some epoxy vendors even require their installers to get certified to install their product. This is important for them to guarantee their product and for warranty purposes.
